Grupo Prodi has acquired Atlas FC Mexican club in a deal valued over $220 million. The Guadalajara (Jalisco) club won two Liga MX championships during its previous ownership. The new owner of the club is José Miguel Bejos, who already knows the sports management and is the owner of the Pericos de Puebla of the Mexican Baseball League. The president of the Orlegi board of directors, Alejandro Irarragorri, has shown his confidence that "under the leadership of José Miguel Bejos and his team, the club will continue its evolution, to the benefit of its fans, Jalisco and Mexican football".
